Bowmore 25-Year Old is the epic culmination of the distillery’s dramatic character, with waves of stewed fruit flavours alongside smoky embers. It is aged in American Oak ex-Bourbon and European Oak Oloroso Sherry casks hand selected by Bowmore’s master whisky maker from their Solera reserve. This Solera process is rare, allowing mature Bowmore single malts of at least 25 years to marry in a Spanish Oak Sherry cask that’s never empty in its lifetime. As one of the Bowmore expressions ages and is drawn, some is left to gift character to the next.

Bowmore Aston Martin Masters’ Select Limited Edition 4 21-Year Old, the fourth and final edition in the Series, is a true celebration of this inspired partnership.
Bringing together whiskies matured in Tawny Port American Oak casks and Oloroso Sherry butts, this single malt pays homage to the true intentionality which defines Bowmore. With nutty sweetness on the nose, opening to a rich and spicy flair to taste, this single malt gathers momentum, flavour and intensity at every stage.

With a cask strength of 53.7% and a flavour profile of dark fruits akin to sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, bitter orange, cherry blossom and liquorice – the intense richness of this whisky is paramount.

A remarkable and rare Bowmore single malt whisky matured for 40 years in the finest American oak ex-bourbon casks and sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads. Around half of the spirit will undergo an extended finishing period in first fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks, adding another layer of complexity. It captures the time and consideration which sits at the heart of every bottle of Bowmore. It’s enduring and expressive, divinely dark and rich, with distinctive flavours of exotic fruits, tobacco and rich cocoa.
